Karmic Indicators in Vedic Astrology: Rahu and Ketu, the nodes of the Moon, Astronomy, Astrology, and Archetypes
We are up for some major karmic shifts this year, and some of those shifts are starting to trickle their way in this month (check out the February forecast, episode immediately before this one, for more on that). So with that in mind, I figured this background info would be really helpful in understanding the shifts! This is more of a lecture-format episode that is meant for you to revisit as often as you need when these concepts come up (and they do, a lot!).
Rahu and Ketu are the nodes of the moon--or astrological "place markers" (not physical bodies, rather points in space that also move around from Earth's perspective) of where solar and lunar eclipses happen. In this lecture, I explain the Indian mythology and general astronomy concepts behind Eclipses, which give rise to the astrological meaning of Rahu and Ketu. They are regarded as Karmic Indicators--studying them can give insight into what karmic lessons you may be up against in this lifetime or during a certain period of your life.
